Among Us is a multiplayer game about teamwork, tasks, and finding the players who cannot be trusted. You join a group of Crewmates on a spaceship or another game map and try to complete tasks around the area. The main goal for the Crewmates is to finish their tasks or find and vote out the Impostors. Impostors have a different goal. They must secretly remove Crewmates and cause enough trouble to stop the team from winning. Since everyone looks similar, you have to pay attention to what other players are doing.

Each round starts with players receiving a secret role. Crewmates move around the map and complete small tasks, while Impostors pretend to do the same. Tasks can include simple activities that require you to visit different parts of the map. If a player finds something suspicious or discovers a defeated Crewmate, a meeting can be called. Everyone then discusses what happened and votes for the player they think is an Impostor. The game becomes a guessing challenge because a wrong vote can help the Impostors.

Good communication is a big part of Among Us. You need to remember where you were, who you saw, and what others were doing. Impostors can also create distractions and use the map to move around without drawing attention. Different maps give players new layouts and places to explore. The number of Impostors and other settings can also change how a round plays. Whether you are completing tasks or trying to hide your role, every round can play out differently.

How to Play

Use the movement controls to travel around the map and interact with task locations. As a Crewmate, complete your tasks while watching for suspicious behavior. Stay aware of players who leave an area quickly or give confusing explanations during meetings. As an Impostor, pretend to complete tasks and avoid drawing attention to yourself. When a meeting starts, share useful information and listen to other players before voting. Think carefully before choosing someone because an incorrect vote can put your team in a difficult position.
